Collin's Spicy Gumbo - Mardi Gras 2014

Hey Mom,
Here are the things I need for the gumbo.

1 lb. Chix breast (med dice)
1 lb. spicy sausage
½ lb shrimp meat (shelled)
1 white onion (med dice)
2 med carrots (med dice)
3 celery sticks (med dice)
1 cup cooked white rice
1 tsp basil
1 cloves garlic
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1.5 tsp thyme
dash of tabasco sauce
2 27 oz cans crushed tomatoes
2 cans tomato paste
2 cups butter

Do think this will be to much?  Because I think we cut this recipe in half last time, but I don’t remember.  So, if you think it will be too much than just get half the amount of ingredients (I am pretty sure that’s what we did).  Thanks.
